Agreement to these Terms

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions (the "Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

The Services

EcosAtlas provides tools for discovering, organizing, and presenting business and organization information, including verification metadata and links to sources. The Services may include public hubs we operate (for example, WyoHub) and any other products or features that link to these Terms.

Some parts of the Services may be in active development. Features may change, and availability may vary by region.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use the Services.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Services. For example, you will not:

• Attempt to access non-public areas or systems without authorization
• Interfere with or disrupt the Services (including security testing without permission)
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code (except where prohibited by law)
• Use the Services to build or refresh a competing database without our written permission
• Bulk copy, export, or download data in a way that is not normal, human usage
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Services or our data outputs without authorization
• Use the Services for unlawful, harmful, or deceptive purposes

Accounts and access (if applicable)

Some features may require an account or approval-based access. If you receive credentials, you are responsible for maintaining their confidentiality and for activity under your account.

Business information and accuracy

The Services aggregate and present information from many sources. While we work to keep information accurate and clearly timestamped, we do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Information may change between checks.

Verification metadata (including timestamps, confidence signals, rationales, and source links) is provided to help you evaluate data quality. It is not a promise or warranty.

You should independently verify information before making decisions that could impact finances, compliance, safety, procurement, hiring, or other critical outcomes.

Public hubs (e.g., WyoHub)

We may operate public, free-to-use hubs (such as WyoHub) as part of our community/education efforts. These hubs may include public listings and tools. Features and coverage may change over time.

Intellectual property

The Services (including software, UI, design, and trademarks) are owned by EcosAtlas or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for your internal, lawful purposes, subject to these Terms.

User submissions and feedback

If you submit feedback or corrections, you grant us permission to use them to operate and improve the Services without obligation to you.

Third-party links

The Services may link to third-party sites. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices.

Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ECOSATLAS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US (IF ANY) IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EcosAtlas from claims arising out of your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time to protect the Services, enforce these Terms, or comply with law.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the effective date. Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
