This Privacy Policy applies to the websites and online services we operate that link to this Policy (collectively, the "Services"). The Services include EcosAtlas and may include public hubs we operate such as WyoHub.

Our Services may link to third-party websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.

When you contact us or request access, you may provide information such as:

  • Your organization (if provided)
  • Your message and any information you choose to include

Information collected automatically

When you use the Services, we (and our service providers) may automatically collect certain information, such as:

  • Pages viewed, referring/exit pages, and interactions
  • Approximate timestamps and performance/diagnostic logs

Business and organization information

EcosAtlas is built around business and organization information. We collect and maintain information from publicly available sources and user-submitted corrections. Examples may include:

  • Business name, website, and public description
  • Locations and service areas
  • Industry classifications (e.g., NAICS)
  • Products, services, capabilities, and certifications (when available)
  • Job postings and related role requirements (when available)
  • Business contact paths (e.g., website contact pages or role-based emails such as info@)

We may attach verification metadata to individual fields, such as when a field was last checked, an internal confidence signal, a brief rationale, and source URLs.

What we try not to collect

We do not intentionally collect or store individual personal contact details such as personal email addresses or direct phone numbers. Our systems are designed to focus on business-level channels and to reduce capture of personal contact information.

If you believe we have collected personal contact information about you, please contact us and we will review the request.

How we use information

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Services
  • Respond to inquiries and communicate with you
  • Maintain data quality, integrity, and provenance
  • Protect against fraud, abuse, and security incidents
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms

How we share information

Business owner requests

If you own or represent a business listed in our Services, you may request an update, correction, claim, or removal by emailing hello@ecosatlas.com. Please include the business name and website/domain.

We aim to honor removal requests within 30 days and maintain a suppression list to help prevent re-adding opted-out domains.

Cookies and similar technologies

We may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Services, remember preferences, understand usage, and improve performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to operate the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Business and organization information may be retained while it remains relevant to the Services and consistent with opt-out/suppression requests.
