1. Follow law and respect rights

Use EcosAtlas only for lawful, authorized business purposes. You must comply with privacy, data protection, marketing, anti-spam, export, sanctions, procurement, employment, intellectual-property, computer-access, and other laws that apply to your use. Do not use the service to violate contracts, source restrictions, confidentiality duties, or another person’s rights.

2. Account and access abuse

Do not share credentials outside authorized users, impersonate another person or business, misstate authority, gain access by deception, use another account without permission, bypass authentication, evade seat or scope limits, or attempt to reach nonpublic systems, data, or administrative functions.

3. Security and service integrity

Do not introduce malware, exploit vulnerabilities, interfere with availability, overload systems, evade security controls, conceal abusive traffic, or use EcosAtlas to compromise another service. Obtain written authorization before active security testing. Report a suspected vulnerability privately to hello@ecosatlas.com with enough detail to locate the issue; do not access, disclose, or retain other people’s information to demonstrate it.

4. Automated access and extraction

Do not bulk extract, mirror, harvest, or automatically query restricted platform data except through enabled features or an expressly authorized workflow. Do not rotate accounts, network addresses, or devices to evade limits or reconstruct restricted datasets. Ordinary browsing, assistive technologies, and search-engine indexing of public marketing pages consistent with published crawler instructions are permitted. Those permissions do not extend to restricted account data or a substitute database.

5. Data misuse

Do not resell or redistribute restricted data, reidentify deidentified information, infer sensitive personal traits, build personal dossiers, expose nonpublic information, create an unauthorized competing database, or use business records for unlawful surveillance, harassment, discrimination, or exploitation.

6. High-impact decisions

The personal eligibility and other prohibited decision purposes in the Data Use and Export Terms apply to records, scores, matches, signals, classifications, research, and AI output. Do not use the service for a prohibited purpose even with human review or another decision input. For permitted company research and procurement tasks, confirm material facts with the relevant business or official source.

7. Communications and outreach

Do not use EcosAtlas to send spam, deceptive messages, unlawful telemarketing, harassment, or communications that misstate eligibility, endorsement, affiliation, urgency, or expected results. Follow consent, disclosure, identification, suppression, and opt-out requirements. A possible opportunity or company match may not be represented as guaranteed qualification or interest.

8. Content and submissions

Do not submit information that is knowingly false, defamatory, infringing, deceptive, unlawfully discriminatory, threatening, or malicious. Do not submit credentials, malware, unnecessary sensitive information, or third-party information you lack authority to process. Authorized confidential customer information may be used only within the agreed service and processing scope. Publication of a business profile requires authority and the applicable publication choices; it does not authorize disclosure of private fields.

9. Misrepresentation and endorsement

Do not remove material source, date, confidence, methodology, sponsorship, or financial-relationship disclosures. Do not present derived information as company-confirmed, imply that EcosAtlas or a listed organization endorses you, or use EcosAtlas branding in a way that creates confusion about affiliation.

10. Model and AI misuse

Do not use licensed EcosAtlas data or outputs to train, evaluate, or improve another model or automated data product without express rights in an order. This does not prohibit using enabled Atlas features or checking an output’s quality and sources for an authorized business task. Do not extract another user’s prompts, protected system instructions, restricted source content, or confidential methods. The prohibited purposes and redistribution restrictions also apply to AI processing.

11. Enforcement

EcosAtlas may investigate suspected violations, preserve relevant records, apply rate or export limits, remove content, restrict a feature, suspend or terminate access, require deletion, notify an affected source or customer, or contact authorities when reasonably necessary and legally permitted. EcosAtlas will consider context, severity, history, risk, and whether a violation can be cured.

12. Reporting and appeals

Report suspected misuse to hello@ecosatlas.com with the affected account, URL, record, and relevant facts. Do not include secrets or unnecessary personal information. If you believe an automated or manual restriction was mistaken, reply to the notice or contact support with the account and reason for review.
