AI and Automated Output Notice
This notice explains which EcosAtlas workflows use AI assistance, which workflows use other automated methods, and the review expected before an output is used.
1. Where AI assistance is used
Atlas workspace assistance
Atlas assists authorized users with company search, record questions, and regional or industry research within the capabilities enabled for their workspace. Where permitted, it can help apply filters, inspect records, work with profile information, or prepare an authorized export. Access conditions remain in force when a task is performed through Atlas.
Atlas research generation
Where enabled, Atlas can interpret a research instruction, propose a scope, and organize company-level research results for review or an authorized delivery. Available research capabilities depend on workspace access or the agreed project. A request for assistance does not authorize a paid engagement or additional data rights; any required estimate and confirmation precede that work.
Supporting data operations
EcosAtlas may use automated extraction, normalization, classification, and entity-resolution methods to structure records and evaluate whether observations may refer to the same business or operating location. An automated method is not necessarily a generative AI model.
Opportunity Intelligence matching
Opportunity matching is deterministic and rules-based. It applies explainable criteria to available opportunity and business-profile fields. It does not use generative AI to decide eligibility, and Opportunity Intelligence does not provide AI-generated opportunity summaries.
2. How to interpret AI-assisted research
An AI-assisted answer, label, or research field is an analytical aid. It may be incomplete, outdated, based on ambiguous records, or incorrect. Review the underlying company information, source context, and observation dates where available. An AI-assisted result does not prove capability, availability, eligibility, interest, legal status, endorsement, or likely success.
3. How to interpret a rules-based match
A rules-based opportunity match reflects the available profile fields and the criteria applied by the workflow. It can still be incomplete or incorrect if source data is missing, stale, ambiguous, or incorrectly structured. A match is not an eligibility determination, recommendation, endorsement, or prediction of an award.
4. Human review and consequential decisions
For permitted business research, review material outputs against source context or the relevant business before acting. The personal eligibility and other excluded purposes in the Data Use and Export Terms and Acceptable Use Policy apply to AI output, even with human review. EcosAtlas does not provide legal, financial, procurement, engineering, or compliance advice.
5. Inputs and submitted information
Provide only information needed for the authorized task and that you have authority to process. Do not enter credentials, export-controlled information, unnecessary sensitive personal information, or unauthorized third-party content. Confidential customer or client information requires an appropriate agreed processing scope. Inputs and outputs may be processed for the requested feature and related security, support, and troubleshooting under the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and applicable agreement; submitting a private prompt does not authorize publicity.
6. Service providers and data handling
AI-assisted features can send the relevant question, instructions, and selected context to model, hosting, retrieval, and processing providers. Handling and retention depend on the service configuration and applicable provider and customer agreements. Contact hello@ecosatlas.com before submitting information that requires a particular retention, location, confidentiality, or training restriction. Do not assume that a private workspace means zero provider retention. Any use for a separate purpose, including model training, requires the necessary rights and notices; a policy revision does not itself grant new rights in earlier private submissions.
8. Intellectual property
Automated output can reflect or resemble source material, and the law may not grant exclusive rights in every generated result. You must review an output before publishing or commercializing it and must preserve required attribution and source restrictions. EcosAtlas does not represent that an output is unique, non-infringing, or eligible for intellectual-property protection.
9. Quality controls
Workspace permissions and field-access rules limit the information available to an assisted task. Workflows may also use structured responses, validation, and review against available sources. Controls vary by feature and do not guarantee a correct result. Check the actual record and source context rather than treating a fluent answer as confirmation.
10. Corrections and feedback
Report an apparent error to hello@ecosatlas.com with the affected company, field, match, or result and the relevant source context. Avoid sending credentials or unnecessary personal information. Feedback can help investigate and improve the workflow subject to the confidentiality and submission rules in the Terms of Service. Correcting a result does not automatically change an independently operated source or an earlier exported copy.
11. Changes
Models, providers, retrieval methods, prompts, evaluation methods, and available features may change. EcosAtlas will update this notice when a material change affects how users should understand AI-assisted processing and will provide additional notice when required by law or agreement.
